Why We Started The K9 Butcher

A Dog Love (& Health) Story

It all began at a dog park on Long Island. Mo (the husky) and Luna (the playful poodle-doberman mix) met and became instant friends. 

Their owners Annie and John hit it off too, sharing stories about their dogs and how much they wanted to keep them happy and healthy.

Mo was struggling with allergies, and nothing seemed to help—until Annie tried raw feeding.

The change was amazing.

 

Mo’s energy came back, his coat looked better, and he was finally himself again. Seeing this, John decided to try raw meals for Luna, and the results were just as incredible. At 9 years old, she was more energetic than ever, her coat was smooth, and she was full of life. (Their poops were tiny, too).

Annie and John knew they had to share this with other dog owners. That’s why they started The K9 Butcher. Their mission is simple: to make fresh, healthy meals so every dog can live their best, happiest life—because dogs are family.
